About Prime Golf Carts of Woodstock

Prime Golf Carts of Woodstock is a family-owned golf cart dealership on Highway 92 in Woodstock, Georgia. We sell new and used carts, we service what we sell and most of what we don’t, and we do it without following anyone around the lot.

How we actually sell

Come in and look. Drive whatever you want to drive. We will ask what you actually plan to do with the cart — neighborhood cruising, hauling, the golf course, getting kids to the pool — and point you at what fits, including the cheaper option when the cheaper option is the right one.

If you find the cart you want, we will handle financing, delivery and setup. If you don’t, there are no hard feelings and we will still answer your questions — even if that means telling you to go look somewhere else. We would rather be the shop you trust than the shop that closed you once.

Where we are, and who we serve

The showroom is at 10971 Hwy 92, Unit I in Woodstock. We serve Woodstock and Towne Lake on our doorstep, and deliver and run mobile service across Canton, Acworth, Kennesaw, Holly Springs, Ball Ground, East Cobb, Marietta and Roswell. We also ship carts nationwide.

Cherokee County has grown fast, and a lot of that growth is neighborhoods where a cart is genuinely useful rather than a novelty. That is most of what we do: helping people who are going to use the thing several times a week pick one that will still suit them in three years.

What we actually do all week

Selling carts is maybe half of it. The rest is service — batteries, brakes, controllers, chargers and lithium conversions — and most of that happens in customers’ driveways rather than at the showroom, because a mobile van is simply a better answer than asking someone to find a trailer.

We also buy carts, take trade-ins, run a parts counter for people who fix their own, and ship nationwide for buyers outside Georgia. The through-line is that we would rather do the boring, useful things well than run a high-pressure sales floor.

Knowing what you can legally drive

A lot of first-time buyers do not realize Georgia treats these vehicles as two different categories, and it decides where you can legally drive. A Personal Transportation Vehicle is capped at 20 mph and 1,300 lb unladen and may only run on roads the local government has specifically permitted. A Low-Speed Vehicle runs above 20 and up to 25 mph, carries a 17-digit VIN, and must be titled, registered, insured and fitted with lights, mirrors, belts and a windshield.

We would rather lose a sale than put someone on a road they are not allowed to be on, so we will tell you which category a cart falls into before you buy it — and point you at your city or HOA to confirm the local rule.

A separate business from Alpharetta

Prime Golf Carts of Woodstock has its own showroom, its own phone number and its own team. There is a Prime Golf Carts in Alpharetta with its own location and website; if you are looking for them, call that location directly rather than us — we would rather send you to the right place than take a message that never reaches anyone.

My passion for golf carts started when I was 16 years old working out of my parents’ garage in Roswell, Georgia. That same passion drives our commitment to great carts and honest service today.
