When your golf cart needs new tires, a battery replacement, or a brake job, the last thing you want is a long wait for parts to ship. Prime Golf Carts of Woodstock stocks and sources golf cart parts for most major brands, and our service team can fit anything we sell — for many jobs in your own driveway, with the mobile van.

Parts We Stock and Source

We sell new ICON, Evolution, Epic, Atlas, Tomberlin, Venom EV, Voyager EV and Star EV carts and keep pre-owned Club Car, E-Z-GO and Yamaha on the lot, so those are the carts we see most. Between the showroom shelf and our suppliers, we can get almost anything for a modern cart:

  • Batteries and chargers — lead-acid and lithium
  • Controllers, solenoids, motors and wiring
  • Tires, wheels and lift kits
  • Seats, enclosures, windshields and body panels
  • Lights, mirrors, horns and street-legal kits
  • Rear seat kits, cargo beds and cooler mounts

If we do not have a specific part on the shelf, we will order it and give you a realistic lead time. Unusual parts for older models can take longer, and we would rather tell you that up front than quote you a best case.

The Most Common Golf Cart Parts Woodstock Owners Replace

Based on the carts we service every week, here are the parts that wear out most often in Georgia's climate:

  1. Batteries — Heat cycles in Georgia summers are hard on lead-acid batteries. Lead-acid packs are rated for roughly 4 to 6 years of normal use, while a lithium pack is rated for 12 or more — the numbers are in our lithium conversion guide, and the new carts we sell come with lithium batteries backed by a lifetime warranty. A sluggish cart that won't hold a charge usually has a battery issue.
  2. Tires — Worn tread reduces grip on hilly terrain and wet grass. We stock both turf and street tires in the most common sizes.
  3. Solenoids and contactors — A clicking sound when you press the pedal typically means the solenoid is failing. We keep these in stock for the carts we see most.
  4. Drive belts (gas models) — A worn belt on a gas cart shows up as slipping and a lazy take-off from a stop. How often it needs replacing depends on use and storage, so we check it with the rest of the drivetrain.
  5. Chargers — We test your current charger before recommending a replacement and stock both OEM and high-quality aftermarket units.

OEM vs. Aftermarket Parts: What Is the Difference?

OEM parts are built to the original manufacturer specification and typically carry a warranty. Aftermarket parts are made by third parties and are often less expensive — they work well for non-critical items like tires, seats, and body panels. For electrical components, solenoids, and batteries, we generally recommend OEM or a high-quality aftermarket equivalent that matches the original spec.

Mobile Service and Free Pick-Up

Most parts do not need a workshop to fit. Our mobile service van covers Woodstock, Towne Lake, Canton, Acworth, Kennesaw, Holly Springs and the surrounding area, so batteries, brakes, controllers and tires get done in your driveway. If a job has to come into the shop on Highway 92, we pick the cart up at no charge anywhere in that service area and bring it back when the work is done. Our repair and service page lists what we work on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which brands do you carry parts for?

Most major brands. We sell ICON, Evolution, Epic, Atlas, Tomberlin, Venom EV, Voyager EV and Star EV carts, keep pre-owned Club Car, E-Z-GO and Yamaha on the lot, and source parts for most major brands regardless of where the cart came from. If a part is not on the shelf, we will order it and give you a realistic lead time.

How long do golf cart batteries typically last?

Lead-acid packs are rated for roughly 4 to 6 years of normal use; lithium packs are rated for 12 or more. If your cart is losing charge quickly, it is worth having the pack tested before assuming it is something else. We test batteries and chargers before recommending a replacement.

Can I buy parts even if I did not buy my cart from Prime Golf Carts?

Absolutely. We sell parts and service all makes and models regardless of where you bought your cart. Bring the year and model number — usually on a sticker in the glove box or on the frame — and we will match the right part.

Can you fit the parts as well?

Yes. You are welcome to buy parts and fit them yourself, and if you would rather not, our service team fits anything we sell. For many jobs the mobile van can do it at your house instead of tying up your cart at the showroom; bigger jobs come into the shop on Highway 92. Call ahead and we will tell you which one yours is.
